Alexis has been a Director of Global Operations at the Back to Bach Project since 2024.

She started her studies in bassoon at age 12 after playing the piano for 7 years and

winning several piano competitions. Alexis entered Mannes Prep as a bassoon major in

2020 and was principal bassoonist in the Mannes Prep Symphony from 20120-2021 and

then in the Mannes Prep Philharmonic from 2021-2022. She then entered Juilliard Pre-

College as a bassoon major in 2022 and is currently a bassoonist in the Juilliard Pre-

College Symphony and a member of a chamber music quintet at Juilliard. Alexis is also a

twelfth-grade student at the Trinity School in Manhattan.
