Member Application FAQs

  • All passionate music and arts students can apply! The minimum age to apply is 13, and there is no maximum age as long as you are a student (this includes doctorate and masters students).

  • Membership application happens all year round on an ongoing basis. You should be notified of your application status within one month of submission. Please do not reach out to us before that time.

  • Members spread inspiration in the arts to young children by participating in live regional presentations (both in-person and virtual) and/or creating video productions. Once you become a member, you will have access to more member-exclusive details.

  • The time commitment differs for each member because the individual member can do as much as they want as long as they participate in at least one event during the school year. Please refer to the members portal for more information after you become a member.

  • Initially, you can only apply to be a member unless you are interested in launching your own region. In that case, you would be applying as both a member and regional director. If you are interested in advancing your role, reach out to backtobachproject@gmail.com or use the Contact Us form to receive information about a path to advancement opportunities/leadership roles.

  • If you are a prospective member and are interested in launching a region in your area, you are able to indicate this on the Member Application form. If you are a prospective member but are not interested in launching a region, you can choose which region you want to be a part of on the Member Application form and participate in virtual events.
