Charles Lee

Charles Lee, 17 years old, is a cellist studying with Taeguk Mun. He has distinguished himself in numerous competitions. His most recent accomplishments include being named as a 2024 and 2025 National YoungArts Winner, winning 2nd place at the Coltman Chamber Music Competition, and performing the Camerata Symphony. Additionally, Charles has attended several music camps, some of which include the Perlman Music Program and Chamber Music Northwest Young Artist Institute. Throughout his musical journey, he has been privileged to have lessons and masterclasses with renowned musicians, including Johannes Moser, Zlatomir Fung, James Ehnes, Horacio Contreras, Anthony Ross, Matthew Zalkind, and Nathan Chan. Outside of music, Charles enjoys playing with cats, bouldering, and reading.
